Co-Owner, Accurate Automotive, Inc.

Meet Lee Weatherby

Lee’s journey in the automotive industry began the way many repair shop owners’ stories do: as a technician with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and a vision for something bigger. Through years of diligence, training, and hands-on experience, Lee grew from turning wrenches to leading a business, building Accurate Automotive into the trusted shop it is today.

Along the way, Lee has been fortunate to learn from many mentors and 20 Group friends who helped shape his leadership, business knowledge, and perspective on the industry. In turn, he has become generous with his own knowledge, always willing to help those who are just getting started on their “shop” journey. Whether someone needs advice, encouragement, or a reality check from someone who has been there, Lee is happy to share what he has learned.

Lee’s passion for the automotive industry has also taken him beyond the shop walls. Accurate Automotive has been involved with the weekly radio show Bumper to Bumper on KTAR 92.3, along with podcasts and industry conversations. Lee has also had the opportunity to speak for NAPA at their Expo in Las Vegas, sharing his experience with others in the field.

At the heart of it all, Lee cares deeply about doing things the right way — for customers, for the team, and for the industry. He believes in honest repairs, strong relationships, and helping people feel confident when it comes to taking care of their vehicles.

On a personal note, Lee had his eye on Kelli while they were still in high school, proving that even back then he had excellent diagnostic skills. Outside of work, Lee enjoys pickleball, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, bike riding, and relaxing over a good meal on a nearby restaurant patio when Arizona weather decides to cooperate.

Lee’s dedication, generosity, humor, and leadership have made a lasting impact on Accurate Automotive and the people around him. His story is one of hard work, growth, service, and a genuine love for both the industry and the relationships built along the way.
